The American Ultra Luxe Vintage '50s Stratocaster features a suite of fine specifications to lay the groundwork for an exceptional musical experience. This guitar's premium alder body takes the iconic Stratocaster shape while bearing keen carved contours. Meant to inspire the absolute best in comfort, these contours work alongside the body's new aged Heirloom lacquer finish. This finish treatment, relatively unseen before in Fender models, makes a splash in the American Ultra Luxe Vintage series with just the right touch of age and wear to match the guitar's timeless sensibilities.
From there, a quartersawn maple neck joins in in a Modern D profile with a satin lacquer finish. This neck, fashioned for performance, fills the hand comfortably alongside Fender's Ultra rolled fingerboard edges. The American Ultra Luxe Vintage '50s Stratocaster plays like a dream with twenty-two stainless steel Medium Jumbo frets and a speedy compound fingerboard radius that measures ten inches at the nut and flattens to fourteen near the body. Playability is paramount at every juncture for this American Ultra Luxe Vintage model.
With this model, we're treated to a new set of electronics. Under the hood, Pure Vintage '57 Strat single-coil pickups summon all the great shimmer and sparkle you've come to know and love from the name. An onboard S1 switch designed into the Volume control allows for an expanded palette of sounds ideal for exploring new sonic territory. CTS 250K pots make mixing through these single coils' sounds a journey every time.
This American Ultra Luxe Vintage model tops its experience all off with a number of fine hardware specifications. At the headstock, a TUSQ nut and sealed locking tuning machines line up to grasp strings solidly for sturdy intonation. At the bridge, a two-point American Ultra synchronized tremolo lands with a cold rolled steel block and polished stainless steel block saddles. Ensuring a rock-solid playing experience every time, these hardware specs are responsive and reliable. This American Ultra Luxe Vintage model travels with an included Fender Deluxe hardshell case.
