Crafted from a solid chambered mahogany, featuring a bound carved maple top, this single cutaway body, gloss finished in a deep Onyx Storm black, is sleek and playable, with forearm and body contours to ensure the guitar stays where you want it. The mahogany neck, found in the Performance "C" profile, is topped with a bound ebony fingerboard, adding clarity and brightness to the well-rounded tone. Guiding the player's path are Pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays stretched over 22 Medium Jumbo frets, with Luminlay side dots for low-light situations where accuracy is dire.
Electromatic's are for every player, satisfying all sounds and signatures, and the Sphere Twin Six humbuckers, found in both the neck and bridge positions, are the go-to tool for handling the balance between sparkling cleans and overdriven dirt. With a tone knob to control each pickup, and a 3-way pickup selector to switch the desired positions, this Electromatic proves that complexity isn't necessary to achieve wonderful tones. The treble bleed circuited master volume is this guitar's hidden power, with a push-pull mechanism to engage a Lumen filter, widening the tonal possibilities achievable with this instrument.
To help ensure all intonation and stability is in check, Gretsch has affixed a LockDown wraparound locking bridge to ease the worries of even the heaviest players, a bridge that is as comfortable as it is reliable. Found at the headstock are die-cast sealed locking tuners, one more safety mechanism to maintain your tunings.
