Winemaker Paul Old is an ex-dancer and expat Australian, who works with old, near-abandoned vines of Carignan, Mourvedre and other mediterranean varietals, near the ocean in Corbieres Maritimes. He's been making wine in Corbières since 2003 under the name Le Clos Perdu, but wanted to take the next step to becoming fully natural - and thus Project 108 was born.

Here, organic Grenache Gris and Muscat grapes were harvested by hand before a 10 day maceration period. They were fermented with indigenous yeast in stainless steel., then bottled unfiltered and unfined, with no added sulphur. The result is a beautifully balanced orange wine which brings togetheter mineral notes from the Grenache Gris and lush tropical fruit from the Muscat.
