NM142 Anti-tank Troop Norwegian (x4)NM142 is a Norwegian missile tank hunter vehicle (Rakettpanserjager) based on the M113 APC. The NM142 mounts a turret containing a TOW guided anti tank missile system, with one launch tube on each side of the turret in a concept broadly similar to the US M901. This TOW turret was developed in Norway by the Kvrner Eureka engineering company. Like the American M901, the turret allows the hull of the vehicle to be concealed behind cover or terrain,

The NM142 mounts a turret containing a TOW guided anti-tank missile system, with one launch tube on each side of the turret in a concept broadly similar to the US M901. This TOW turret was developed in Norway by the Kværner Eureka engineering company.

Like the American M901, the turret allows the hull of the vehicle to be concealed behind cover or terrain, exposing only the turret, allowing the crew to fire the missile without exposing themselves as they had to do with the earlier M150 TOW anti-tank vehicle.

In Canadian Service
The M113 TUA (TOW Under Armour) is the Canadian version of the Norwegian NM142 anti-tank vehicle. It is very similar to the Norwegian vehicle. The M113 TUA has been acquired to upgrade anti-armour capabilities in Force Mobile Command, supplementing weapons already available in armoured units and infantry anti-armour units. 
The M113 TUA variant is fitted with an armoured turret equipped with twin launchers to fire TOW missiles.
