Shelters can be tough for cats. Cramped cages with food, water, and a towel might meet their basic needs, but it doesn’t meet their royal standards. These sweet kittens were very timid while at the shelter. The castles gave them safe place to hide-a-way and overlook all the activities that were happening.

Clay looked and felt like royalty in his Cat Castle "turret". Shortly after this photo was taken, Clay was adopted by a new, loving royal family and went home—in his trusty Cat Castle carrier, of course—to a grand castle of his very own. Huzzah! HSPPR staff and animals were so excited to receive all of the items donated and put them into action around the shelters in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

Hagrid's Hope Cat Rescue: This little kitten playing peekaboo is one of two kittens rescued form an apartment complex. The mother had been killed. After visiting the vet, they are doing well. They still like to jump in and out of the boxes and sneak a peek through the little holes in the carrier. These carrier boxes have been extremely helpful when we’ve had to transport our cats and kittens. We've been using the carriers when we transport cats/kittens to the vet or to an adoptive home.
