Engraved with two swallows in a floral leaf pattern and it opens and closes securely. The barrel clasp is stamped 9c and the safety chain is stamped 9ct (the safety chain is 9ct yellow gold). The locket itself is not stamped but has been tested as 9ct gold with acid and a surface tester. Please note the barrel clasp has a few small dents.
