OUTSTANDING QUALITIES

  • UNIFORM, MEDIUM-SIZED FRUIT
  • EXCELLENT YIELD POTENTIAL
  • OUTSTANDING INTERNAL QUALITY AND FLAVOUR
  • INTERMEDIATE RESISTANCE TO POWDERY MILDEW

Quantum F1 hybrid is a Cucurbita moschata type butternut with medium-sized fruit and excellent fruit quality. Quantum is the industry standard for warm season productions, giving very uniform, medium-sized fruits. Plants are adaptable and vigorous and tend therefore to be less susceptible to diseases. Yield potential is excellent and the fruit is not inclined to crack. Fruit set is excellent and covers a long bearing season. Fruit shape is similar to that of Waltham and the size is smaller than Pluto but larger than Veenas (800 – 1 500 g). The firm, deep orange flesh has an excellent flavour and high sugar content. The smooth rind has a tan colour when mature. Mature fruit has an excellent shelf life. Fruit is used as traditional butternut, but the excellent internal quality and shelf-life make Quantum suitable for processing and export. Quantum has intermediate resistance to Powdery mildew (Px) (ex Sf).

SPECIAL VARIETAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Quantum performs best in warm season plantings. During cool season production, fruit size is smaller than during summer and may become too small
  • Fruit size is affected by plant population: The higher the population, the smaller the fruit size. We suggest 12 000 – 15 000 plants per hectare

Avoid These Shoes
Size: 10, Color: Grey
The pair I received (gray) was not represented well in their photos. Mine had a lime green logo which looks silly. They also bunch up very badly when you pull the laces which looks ridiculous. Cheap feeling and look bad when tied. Sending back

Great pair of shoes
Size: 10, Color: Burgundy
I was a bit concerned that these shoes would be a bit large because I normally wear a size 9 1/2 and these are a size 10. But they fit perfectly. They are very light and comfortable. 👍

My son likes them
Size: 10, Color: A Black
Basic black sneakers that are breathable and my son says are very comfortable in the summer. My 15 year old has reached a time where he gets really sweaty feet and dislikes that so I bought him these breathable shoes and he says it’s a lot better having airflow throughout his shoe and he can still run and do sporty things in them staying comfortable. Very supportive, easy to put on and fit okay although I would recommend sizing up a half size although they fit him okay there’s not much wiggle room his foot is almost at the edge and I bought his normal size. Overall cheap, supportive, comfy and worth the price.

Super breathable, low-cost footwear
Size: 11, Color: A Black
Comfortable, super breathable, very light-weight. With this pricepoint, an easy purchase for a hot trip to Florida theme parks (despite them being black, they were still very cool compared to other sneakers). Adequate traction for rainy days. Extremely flexible - would likely be good for jogging as well. Had them for a few months now and wear them at least a couple times a week, no durability issues yet, they're still in fine shape.
