Elder Sign: Unseen Forces is the first expansion to Fantasy Flight Games' , set in the 1920's world of H.P.Lovecraft. The ancient ones return in Unseen Forces as eight new investigators attempt to complete tasks throughout the museum, attempting to gather enough Elder Signs to the of the ancient one away once and for all. But the eight investigators aren't the only thing that is new, along with them comes new items, spells and four new ancient ones to pit their skill and luck against. Unseen Forces also adds the blessing and cursed dice to the game, which can help the investigators, hinder them or lead them to be devoured completely! Along with all the new investigators, ancient ones and dice, there are new tasks that need to be completed in order to collect everything you need to claim victory over evil. If the game is not challenging enough then you can also use the Master Mythos optional cards, which can be added into the mythos deck to add even greater challenges to the hunt through the museum. Unseen forces also changes the entrance rules to the base game, making it harder by stopping the purchase of elder signs and having the entrance as four distinct locations: Shop, infirmary, chapel and the lost and found.
