New for 2022 the SLR3 Pro pad with an improved core, deeper knee cradle and pre-shaped design, Vaughn's also added a firmer face to this pad for even bigger rebounds and a stiffer inside edge to really seal the pad to the pad to the ice.
Being the stiffer of the two families the SLR3 offers a full Pro-Core internal construction with added HD Foam to the front of the core. Building on that Pro-Core the main goal is to give this goalie even bigger rebounds so they can get ready for the next shot, helping you get to that next spot is a softer boot to allow you better push offs plus it's squared off design helps seal the pad from boot to thigh. We also have the addition of Quickslide to this pad which is a very slick material to allow for quicker butterfly slides.
Going around the pad we have a deeper knee cradle with a removable knee flap to really open it up for those larger knee guards. Keeping you connected to the pad we have the Rotation control strap that is adjustable to get a better fit to your leg along with two velcro straps at the calf at the top and bottom which are also adjustable. The face of the knee cradle is a flat design to allow for better performance and quicker rotation.
Connecting to your skate is a smart cord toe strap with a velcro elastic boot strap that is removeable.
