These special, high performance ceramic burs, with a weight that is up to 25% lower than tungsten carbide burrs, has a more pleasant gentler feel for the user and for patients. Because ceramic materials are biocompatible, ceramic burrs are particularly recommended for patients with severe allergies to metal.

For the treatment of natural or artificial nails, three flute-types are available. Ceramic burrs are suitable for all authorised disinfection and sterilisation treatments.
