The acoustic lighting series ‘Rice Field’ is inspired by the similar shape of rice fields and is based on the importance of acoustics and light in interior design. These acoustic lamps are created by using resin, an open-cell resin with outstanding acoustic properties. The shape is a perfect match with the acoustic properties of the resin. By adding extrusion to the flat surface the volume of the shape is enhanced, improving its effectiveness. This in combination with high-quality E27 lighting results in an inventive system that controls both light and sound.
