Der Rotwein Rodanico von dem Weingut Idiom eröffnet mit intensiven Noten von roter Kirsche, duftigen Veilchen und einer klaren, steinigen Mineralik. Am Gaumen entfalten sich saftige dunkle Pflaume und ein präziser Hauch weißen Pfeffers. Der Einfluss des Viognier verleiht dem Duft florale Feinheit und dem Mundgefühl eine geschmeidige Textur. Die Tannine wirken samtig und sehr gut integriert, wodurch der Wein elegant und zugänglich bleibt. Eine frische, belebende Säure hält die Frucht straff und fokussiert. Dezente Holznoten bringen Würze und feine Struktur, ohne die Frische zu überdecken. Der Abgang ist lang, würzig und klar, mit kühler, granitischer Spannung.

91 % Shiraz, 7 % Mourvèdre, 2 % Viognier

Bordeaux-Weine aus Frankreich oder Premium Weine aus dem Anbaugebiet Rioja, in Spanien, zählen ebenso zu Cuvées. Außerdem sind die besten Champagner der Welt meist Cuvée Champagner, bestehend aus den Rebsorten Pinot Noir, Chardonnay und Pinot Meunier.

Grundlegend bedeutet Cuvée, das Mischen eines Weins aus verschiedenen Rebsorten in einem Gärbehälter. Auch das Verschneiden von Trauben, die aus unterschiedlichen Lagen stammen führt dazu, dass ein Wein als Cuvée bezeichnet wird.
