Splash-proof, not waterproof: Fine for light rain, puddles and damp grass. Don't let your dog swim in it — the battery unit is electronic and not rated for submersion.
Not for dogs that chew harnesses: The LED strip is sealed inside the harness body, but a determined chewer could damage the electronics. If your dog chews through collars, this isn't the right harness.
Size up if in doubt: If your dog is between sizes or has a thick coat (Husky, Collie, Retriever), go up a size. Measure neck and chest girth before ordering.

Which size do I need?
Measure your dog's neck and chest girth (the widest point, just behind the front legs) with a soft tape. S fits Chihuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers and Jack Russells. M fits French Bulldogs, Beagles and Cocker Spaniels. L fits Labradors, Golden Retrievers and Border Collies. XL fits German Shepherds, Rottweilers and Huskies. If your dog is between sizes or has a thick coat, size up.
How long does the battery last?
Around 10h+ on Steady Glow and 20h+ on either flash mode per charge. Cold weather slightly reduces runtime as with any lithium battery. A full charge takes about 1 hour via the included USB cable.
Is it waterproof?
Splash-proof — fine for rain, puddles and damp walks. Not rated for submersion; don't let your dog swim in it. The battery unit is electronic and can be damaged by prolonged water exposure.
Can I use it without the LEDs on?
Yes — hold the ON/OFF button to cycle through modes and switch the lights off entirely. The reflective trim on the straps still works under headlights without the LEDs, so it's a fully functional day harness too.
