However, my favourite moments occur in the Nyingulu nursery, where these majestic creatures rest, play, and even wave hello. Each encounter feels just as magical as the first, leaving me in awe of the beauty of nature.
I learnt yesterday, that if all the great whale species managed to recover to pre whaling numbers, that their impact on the climate would be comparable to planting 30 billion trees. 30 billion! This is due to their role in nutrient cycling in the ocean, I don’t want to get too sciencey or political on this otherwise my caption will become an essay, but I find that just staggering.
