Diane Patalano was a patient and willing subject—not at all self-conscious.  She liked having her picture taken and was open to direction—relaxed, comfortable, and somewhat detached. She brought me up to the top story bedroom with walls of windows to the north and east looking out over the ocean.  The morning was overcast. It was a perfect natural light studio with an atmosphere that told a story.

“A lot of locals don't like haole people and back then the locals really didn’t like the hippies. In those days, I was, like, totally scared of locals. They used to come through Camp drunk and fighting and stuff.   But when I think back at the way I dressed, I just go, ‘God’, you know.  Hairy underarms, hairy legs.  It was just — it was just our generation.  After I moved out and they burned down the Camp—I was about 21— I started going out with local guys for like 15 years and got really into the culture, but when I was living at Taylor Camp I didn't know any local people, just surfer dudes and hippies from Camp.”

The collection is a limited edition of twelve with several pieces already acquired by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Stanford University as well as private galleries and collectors. Wehrheim's historic Taylor Camp photos are the most complete and evocative documentary of a sixties and seventies counter-culture community and represent "the ultimate hippie fantasy".

Sturdy and Functional
Color: White, Size: 4 Panel Basic
I got this to replace a poor quality divider that I tried first, and this thing is the best! It is easily folded, stands sturdily, easy to assemble, and the fabric looks great. Very very happy with the quality for the price.

Arrived damaged
Color: Black, Size: 4 Panel Basic
Unfortunately, very cheaply made. It arrived with one of the connecting tubes cracked horizontally. Possibly due to bad welding. It is quite a headache to assemble. It was delivered on time but returned for a refund.

Not a great experience but a fine product
Color: Black, Size: 4 Panel Basic
not enough screws were included to make the wall. I was able to locate more screws to finish building-so I didn’t have to return the product- but it was a pain and I got lucky finding the pieces I needed but it could’ve been a fail and a returned product

Useful, simple room divider
Color: White, Size: 4 Panel Basic
All the pieces were accounted for, and some even had extra pieces, maybe just in case they need changing. It was a bit like putting together a piece of IKEA furniture, though I went slower than usual so as not to make any mistakes. It wasn’t too hard to put together myself, and helps give my studio apt a feeling of space and privacy for my bed. I only wish it had a lovely Japanese design on it, but it does amazingly seem to match the wall color.

Multi purpose divider
Color: White, Size: 4 Panel Basic
I am excited this divider is being used to block off a portion of the dining room where I stored extra supplies. It looks nice!
