Background

VANGL2 (Van Gogh-like 2) is a four-pass transmembrane core component of the Wnt/planar cell polarity (PCP) pathway that—by shuttling between the endoplasmic reticulum, plasma membrane and endocytic vesicles—governs embryonic convergence-extension, neural crest migration, adult tissue homeostasis and repair, while in disease contexts it drives malignant traits: in glioma it is transcriptionally up-regulated, correlates with IDH mutation and poor prognosis, and accelerates proliferation, invasion and stem-like sphere formation via positive crosstalk with Notch signaling, whereas in inflammatory disorders it unexpectedly suppresses NF-κB by acting as an autophagy adaptor that recruits the E3 ligase PDLIM2 to K63-ubiquitinate the p65 subunit, thereby enabling NDP52-mediated selective autophagic degradation of p65 and limiting pro-inflammatory cytokine output.

doesn't whistle as loud as other chuckit balls I've seen, but a good ball.
makes some noise, but I've seen (and played with) others at the dog park that whistle much louder than the 1 I got. all Chuckit balls... so, just this one I'm betting. but it flys good and the dog loves to chase it. he chews it a fair bit as well and the ball has not taken much damage from him (lab mix) or others that have had a go at it. I'll likely buy another at some point ... just wish it was a little louder when flying.

Blue ball, my dog likes blue.
Just a ball right? Evidently not! My dog won’t chase an orange chuck it ball or the glow in the dark ball- only the blue one 🤷🏼‍♀️

Colorful, Sturdy & Great Value
Color: Large Set of 4
Purchased for our two puppies when they were 2 months old and weighed about 14 pounds so theses balls were a little big for them to hold in their mouths but that didn't stop them from trying. While they did like these balls they much preferred softer soccer balls, the later of which did not hold up well at all. I had hoped they would play with these balls more when they were older but that hasn't happened 5 months later. I guess it's no fun if you can't tear the toy apart. Colors are very bright and they do enjoy chasing after them as long as I am the one rolling them across the room for them. Maybe when they progress to batting things with their paws they will start to do this for themselves.
