This gem originated from a Sri Lankan gem merchant who ventured to Madagascar to source the moonstone rough and then imported it into Sri Lanka to be expertly cut. We came across his booth at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show 2024, and were immediately captivated by the splendid adularescence and play on colour these gems exhibit.
