Background
Mouse CXCL1, also known as Keratinocyte Chemoattractant (KC), is a chemokine protein that plays a crucial role in immune responses. It is primarily produced by various cell types, including macrophages and endothelial cells, in response to inflammatory stimuli. CXCL1/KC functions by attracting neutrophils to sites of infection or tissue damage, thereby facilitating the immune system's ability to combat pathogens and initiate the healing process.
