Background
The major protein essential for the uptake of iron is transferrin receptor (TfR), encoded by TFRC, which is found primarily as a homodimer. TfR is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein that is endocytosed from the cell membrane after binding iron with transferrin (Tf), a serum iron carrier protein. TfR was found to affect many aspects of tumorigenesis, such as cancer cell proliferation, migration, invasion, metastasis and apoptosis. TfR expression was consistent with the asthma severity index, especially the proinflammatory M1 macrophage phenotype. TfR expression may be a good marker to indicate asthma severity. Increased TfR expression and decreased methylation levels of TfR were strongly correlated with multiple clinicopathological parameters. Elevated TfR expression was associated with a poor survival rate in BC patients. TfR is a new independent prognostic biomarker and a potential target for immunotherapy in BC.

Nice grinder set

These are a really pretty grinder set. They work well, but after a bit they don't grind as well, and the tops try to come off. They are also NOT dishwasher safe. They will literally melt, even on the top shelf.

Perfect size! Easy to hold and turn the grinder. Grinds both S & P well. Easy to fill and comes with a top to cover grinder when not in use. These are great!

I've had these for about a year year and a half and I really like them this morning the salt shaker broke, so I just ordered another set (they're not sold individually) to replace the one that broke. If you should happen to drop them on the floor the plastic top will crack!!

Great addition in my kitchen

I really like these grinders. They are perfect size. I use them for other seasonings that I want to grind up for marinating or cooking. They are adjustable so if I want larger or smaller grinds, easily do-able. Great value for the price. They look nice and are easy to use. Also easy to clean.

This grinder appeared to work great and is one of the few ceramic options available. Unfortunately, the ceramic grinder has already broken inside, detaching from the bottle altogether. There are probably tiny plastic pieces in my leftover peppercorns. Don't buy it unless you want to purchase it every few months, which is unfortunate.
