The topaz have a combined total weight of approximately 3.03 carats, with one stone weighing 1.51 carats and the other 1.52 carats. Their vibrant color and graceful proportions create an eye-catching yet refined appearance.
Each earring measures approximately 1.40 inches from the top of the ear wire to the bottom and 0.40 inches wide, with a combined weight of 3.02 grams, offering an elegant presence when worn.
They are presented in great antique condition. There is some variation in the patina and color of the gold between the two earrings, a result of age and the addition of later lever backs. This difference is visible upon close inspection but is considerably less noticeable in person than it appears in photographs. One earring also exhibits a small indentation along the lower edge, visible only under very close inspection and not detracting from the overall appearance or wearability of the pair.
Gemstone identification has been confirmed using Raman spectroscopy, a non-destructive analytical technique that provides a precise chemical fingerprint to verify authenticity.
