I used markers, oil pastels, and gouache paint to get the colors and the letters just right. The art is varnished with an archival matte varnish.

This piece is part of my “We the People” collection. The words and phrases in these pieces are from our declaration of independence and our constitution. I created them as reminders of why our country was founded and what it stands for — for all people. And, as a reminder to stand up for what you believe in.
