The ghostly Hypancistrus will stay smaller than other pleco species such as the Adonis, Pterygoplichthys, and Pseudocanthicus, maxing out at 3-5 inches in captivity. Being a Hypan. cat, the L270 pleco will appreciate high flow (not required) and a varied diet skewed towards higher protein as well as moderate to high water temperature.
