Mobilgear 600 XP 220 is an extra high-performance mineral industrial gear oil formulated for enclosed gear drives requiring ISO VG 220 lubrication. ISO 220 is the most widely specified industrial gear oil grade across South African mining, manufacturing and processing plant operations — making Mobilgear 600 XP 220 the standard choice for the majority of enclosed gearbox applications including conveyor drives, mixers, agitators, screens and general medium-duty industrial gearboxes.
Formulated from high-quality mineral base oils and an advanced additive system, it delivers outstanding extreme-pressure characteristics, exceptional micropitting resistance and superior bearing protection. Its balanced formulation maintains full compatibility with common gearbox seal materials, preventing leaks and protecting against contamination ingress across extended service intervals.
Approved by Flender (Siemens), SEW-Eurodrive, ZF and meeting AGMA 9005-F16, DIN 51517-3 and ISO 12925-1 — Mobilgear 600 XP 220 covers the vast majority of industrial gearbox OEM specifications encountered across South African industry. Always confirm the required ISO VG grade from the gearbox nameplate or OEM manual before ordering.
