Background

GATA3 (GATA-binding protein 3) is a zinc-finger transcription factor encoded by the GATA3 gene on chromosome 10p15 that orchestrates embryogenesis, cell fate, and differentiation across epithelial, endothelial, hematopoietic, and neural lineages by binding the consensus WGATAR DNA motif, and its indispensable roles in mammary luminal specification, T-helper-2 immune responses, parathyroid and inner-ear development are underscored by the severe multi-organ defects seen in Gata3-haploinsufficient HDR syndrome, while in cancer its context-dependent function manifests as an estrogen-receptor-coactivating oncogene in luminal breast tumors and a lineage-survival oncogene in urothelial carcinomas, yet also as a tumor suppressor in some contexts, making immunohistochemical GATA3 positivity a widely used diagnostic biomarker for carcinomas of breast and urothelial origin and a potential therapeutic target whose modulation is being explored with small-molecule inhibitors and epigenetic strategies.

Definitely recommend this!
Format: Kindle
This is a wonderfully written and beautifully illustrated story about a boy teaching others to be kind. There are many examples of being kind with even more suggestions at the end of the book. We ALL need to be kind to others because the world is a better place to be if we respect others and are nice to them. Being mean or selfish diminishes us and makes the world more inhospitable.

Such an Adorable Book
Format: Kindle
This book was one I originally borrowed on Kindle to read to my twin niece and nephew to hopefully help them stop fighting. The book was so adorable, I bought it for Kindle to make sure I always had a copy. While the message is great, treating others with kindness, the illustrations and rhymes are what make it unique. There are some larger words used, but they are all in a clear context to help build vocabulary. The twins loved the farm animals and I actually used the book as part of a lesson on kindness for my Sunday school class who also enjoyed it. Even though I already have the Kindle version, I am ordering paper copies to give as Christmas gifts this year. I love this author, the illustrations, and the message. This is the type of children's book everyone can enjoy and agree on.
